Evan Seavey - Varsity Assistant

Evan Seavey enters his seventh season as Varsity Assistant Coach at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

​

Seavey played high school baseball at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls, New Jersey under head coach Ted Jarmusz.



Seavey continued his playing career after graduate school as the first baseman for the Iselin Indians of the New Brunswick Mens Baseball League during the summers of 02, 03, and 04.

​

In the summer of 06, Seavey began his coaching career as Assistant Coach of the Bridgewater Baseball Junior American Legion team, working under Coach Newill.  Seavey was the Head Coach, in the summer of 07, of one of the two Bridgewater Baseball Junior American Legion teams.

​

Seavey is a School Counselor at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, where he is currently working in his tenth year, after working for two years as a School Counselor at Hillside Intermediate School in the Bridgewater-Raritan School District.  He earned a Bachelors degree in psychology from The College of New Jersey in 1999 and a Masters degree in counseling from The College of New Jersey in 2001.

Seavey is married to the former Rachel Kurtzman.  The Seavey's are proud new parents to son Logan.  They currently reside in Bridgewater, NJ
